Arkansas Game and Fish officials are investigating a fatal boating accident on Greers Ferry Lake.
Authorities told Little Rock news outlet KARK one person was killed in the accident on Sunday, which involved a pontoon boat and a speed boat. One witness camping near Sugar Loaf marina said the pontoon boat was damaged on one side.
A Game and Fish official told Little Rock outlet KTHV that two boats on the lake crashed into each other around 1 p.m. There were six people on the boats in total.
Authorities have not yet released the victim’s name or said if any other injuries were reported.
