The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce helped celebrate the opening of a new consignment shop in Southside with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday morning.

For the Kids of Arkansas’s Secondhand Swank, located at 901 Batesville Blvd., features clothing, shoes, and formal attire.

Proceeds from Secondhand Swank benefit For the Kids of Arkansas, a local non-profit organization that promotes children’s health and well-being.

Founded in 2014, For the Kids of Arkansas has funded area youth athletic and extracurricular endeavors. The organization has provided funding assistance to projects, including the Sulphur Rock playground and the Lyon College tennis courts, Project Graduations, church youth groups, various school clubs, and youth sports.

Watch the ceremony below in a video posted earlier today on the Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce Facebook page.
