A Drasco woman died Thursday morning in a single-vehicle crash in Van Buren County, authorities said.
Rebecca Brett, 63, was driving west on Highway 92 near Morganton around 10:15 a.m. when she failed to negotiate a right-hand curve, according to a report from the Arkansas State Police. Her vehicle left the roadway to the south and struck a ditch embankment.
Brett was taken to Ozark Health Medical Center in Clinton, where she later died from her injuries.
Troopers said the weather was clear and the road was dry at the time of the crash.
