The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon-cutting ceremony Thursday, July 17, to celebrate the grand opening of Sarah Dipity restaurant’s new location on Main Street in downtown Batesville.
The event brought together community leaders, friends, customers and supporters to welcome the local eatery to its new home. Owned and operated by Batesville native Sarah Castleberry, Sarah Dipity is known for its creative menu, fresh flavors and warm, welcoming atmosphere, a release from the chamber noted.
“Being a part of the Main Street business community means everything to me,” Castleberry said during the event. “This is more than a restaurant—it’s a place where we build community. I love helping my young staff learn new skills, from chopping vegetables to packing orders. It’s more than a job—it’s home economics and life lessons all in one.”
Castleberry expressed deep gratitude for the continued support from the Batesville community.
“I’ve had so many mentors and helping hands along the way,” she said. “I couldn’t have done this without the love and encouragement I’ve received from this town.”
The new location marks a milestone for Sarah Dipity, which continues to grow as a popular stop for locals and visitors alike. The restaurant also offers catering services for special events and gatherings.
