The Cedar Ridge Timberwolves are heading to the state championship after a season already marked by school history.
The senior high football team clinched its first conference title with a 62–26 win over Rector on Halloween night. The victory advanced the team to the first round of the state playoffs, where they defeated Dermott at home Nov. 14 to secure a spot in the 2025 8-Man State Championship.
The Timberwolves will face Woodlawn at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 4, at War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock. The game will be televised on Arkansas PBS. Tickets are available through GoFan, and all passes will be validated at the gate; screenshots will not be accepted.
Parking at the stadium is $5 cash, and fans may use either the east or west lots. Home fans will enter through Gate 7. A team send-off is scheduled for 12:40 p.m. Thursday. The bus will depart from the high school gym and follow a route past the elementary school before heading toward Little Rock.
War Memorial Stadium will enforce its clear bag policy, and metal detectors will be in use at all entrances. Prohibited items include pocket knives, coolers, tobacco products, noisemakers with external power sources, and all non-approved containers.
