The third annual White River Fan Con returns to Batesville from Feb. 20 through Feb. 22 at the Batesville Community Center, 1420 20th St., offering three days of comics, gaming, cosplay, panel discussions, workshops, and celebrity appearances, while raising money for the Independence County Library.
The convention’s film guest of honor is Ricky Dean Logan, known for his role in Back to the Future Part II. White River Now’s Sean Peer recently interviewed Logan ahead of the event. Listen to their interview below:
Additional celebrity guests include Clayton Landey, whose credits include The Dukes of Hazzard and A Nightmare on Elm Street 3; Bryan Massey, known for work on Dragon Ball and Fairy Tail; and John Kapelos, recognized for his role as Carl the janitor in The Breakfast Club.
Organizers said White River Fan Con is designed to support the Independence County Library, helping to fund library operations and sustain the annual event.
