A bomb threat briefly closed the Batesville Walgreens over the weekend.
A Batesville Police Department (BPD) official tells White River Now’s Gary Bridgman an investigation is underway after officers were called to the Walgreens at St. Louis and Harrison Streets on Sunday regarding a threat the store had received.
Reports on social media indicated the store was locked down for a period of time, but ultimately, no threat was discovered.
