A section of Forest Service Road (FSR) 4254, east of the junction of FSR 4254-800, is closed due to a washout. Recent rainfall has caused significant damage, rendering the road impassable to motor vehicles. To prioritize public safety, barricades and cones have been placed on both sides of the washout.
The Forest Service is working on repairing the damaged section of road and expect to have it reopened by the end of May. FSR 42, 4250 and 4270 provide alternative access routes to the area.
