According to the organization, DeMolay offers scholarship opportunities and emphasizes community service, particularly in support of public education. The program aims to develop leadership skills and civic responsibility among its members.
Founded in 1919, DeMolay International reports it has influenced more than 4 million young men. Notable alumni include former President Bill Clinton, actor John Wayne and Walt Disney, founder of The Walt Disney Co.
The establishment of the Phoenix DeMolay Chapter marks the organization’s expansion into Independence County, providing local youth with access to leadership development and community service opportunities.
