The Batesville Area Arts Council (BAAC) will hold its annual Summer Celebration fundraiser, “Bringing BAAC Prom,” on Friday, June 28, at The Loft on Main Street. The event, presented by First Community Bank, will feature dinner, drinks, dancing, and live entertainment to support the arts in Batesville.
The evening is scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. at The Loft, located at 267 E Main St., 3rd Floor. Entertainment will include live music from Luke Middleton and Trevor Graddy, along with a DJ set by Colyn Bowman.
A silent auction will also be part of the event, showcasing artwork donated by local artists and experiences provided by downtown Batesville businesses.
Attendees have the option to wear cocktail or formal attire, or more playful prom-themed outfits. BAAC’s Work/Shop on Main, located at 246 E Main Street, has pre-owned prom dresses available for purchase at $25 each.
Tickets for the fundraiser are $60 for general admission and $50 for BAAC members. The ticket price includes food, drinks, and entertainment. Tickets can be purchased at the BAAC Gallery on Main (226 E Main St) or online at batesvilleareaartscouncil.org.
Sponsors for the event include First Community Bank, Precise, Citizens Bank, Intimidator Group, Lyon College, and Batesville Printing.
