A 20-year-old woman was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Sunday in rural Sharp County, according to Arkansas State Police.
Authorities identified the victim as Tayler Jordan of Salem. Investigators said she was driving a southbound 2021 Jeep on U.S. 167 near Bear Valley Road when the vehicle left the roadway. The Jeep struck an embankment, then a tree, and overturned before coming to rest after hitting a utility pole.
Jordan was pronounced dead at the scene.
The crash occurred during clear and dry weather conditions, according to the police report.
