Authorities say a 17-year-old girl from Bradford who had been missing for more than a week has been found safe.
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Department confirmed Monday that Hannah Osborn was located after she was last seen leaving her father’s home on Aug. 9.
Her disappearance prompted a wide search effort involving the sheriff’s office, the White County Sheriff’s Office, the Independence County Sheriff’s Office, the Newport Police Department, the Arkansas State Police, and the Morgan Nick Foundation.
Sheriff Russell Brinsfield announced in a statement that Osborn was found safe, but did not disclose where she had been located. He said the immediate priority is her well-being.
Family members earlier reported seeing suspicious vehicles near their home around the time she vanished. Authorities did not say whether foul play was suspected.
