Jesse James Foods grilled its way to first place in blind judging at the Miracle League of Arkansas Burger Competition on Sept. 28 in Springdale. The victory, fueled by a Wagyu beef burger from Hillside Beef in Elkins, secures the team a spot at the World Food Championships in 2026.
“We’re proud to share that we took first place,” the group said in a statement thanking supporters and partners, including Tripp Supply of Batesville. The contest, which benefits the Miracle League of Arkansas, drew burger competitors from across the state.
Just a day later, Meme’s Burgery earned the People’s Choice title in the 2025 Arkansas Food Hall of Fame. The honor, presented by Arkansas Heritage, recognized the eatery’s strong community support and reputation as a local favorite.
