The University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville (UACCB) will host its 4th annual Run the College 5K on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. All proceeds from the event will benefit the UACCB Foundation Student Emergency Fund, which provides vital financial assistance to students facing unexpected hardships.
The Student Emergency Fund has supported numerous students through challenging times, helping them stay enrolled, complete their coursework, and meet essential needs when emergencies arise.
The 5K will start and finish on the east side of Independence Hall, featuring three scenic loops around the UACCB campus.
The event is open to runners, walkers, and families with strollers, and participants are encouraged to come in Halloween costumes to add some festive fun to the morning.
