LifePlus International, a Batesville-based manufacturer and distributor of nutritional supplements, has been honored with the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Global Trade, recognizing the company’s rapid growth and expanding international reach.

LifePlus was among four Arkansas companies and organizations recognized Friday for outstanding performance in global markets. The awards, presented annually by the Arkansas District Export Council, celebrate businesses that demonstrate success in exporting Arkansas-made products and services worldwide.

LifePlus received the award for Exponential Growth in Manufacturing. The company exports vitamins, supplements, and other wellness products to customers across Europe — particularly Germany, Switzerland, and the United Kingdom — as well as to Japan, New Zealand, Mexico, and Canada.

The company has recently completed the first two phases of a four-phase expansion at its Batesville campus, including new manufacturing and office facilities. The project will add 150 new jobs over the next three years. LifePlus also entered the pet health sector this year, acquiring and relocating a Vermont-based pet supplement company to its Independence County headquarters.

“From Australia to Saudi Arabia, Arkansas’ products and services continue to expand their reach throughout the world,” said Arkansas District Export Council Chair Jonathan Bricker. “The state of Arkansas has momentum on the global stage, and the Council is honored to assist companies that play a role in this momentum.”

Now in its 15th year, the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Global Trade is organized by the Arkansas District Export Council in partnership with the Arkansas Economic Development Commission, the U.S. Commercial Service and the Arkansas World Trade Center. Other 2025 recipients include Push Plastic of Springdale, FX3D of Rogers and the University of Central Arkansas Center for Global Learning and Engagement in Conway.
