The Batesville Friends of Fine Arts, an independent community organization led by former Superintendent Ted Hall and supported by members of the Batesville fine arts faculty, has launched a fundraising effort to help equip the new Batesville Performing Arts Center.

The group’s first priority is raising money to purchase a concert grand piano, which organizers say would support band, choir, orchestra, and theater performances, according to a release. After that goal is met, the organization plans to continue fundraising for acoustical shells to improve sound quality and allow the center to host regional festivals, large ensemble events, and guest performances.

To support the campaign, the group has opened a digital giveaway to the community. Digital ticket sales are open through Dec. 18, and winners will be announced and notified on Dec. 19. Entries must be submitted by the deadline to be included in the drawing. Tickets may also be purchased at the Batesville High School office.

Organizers encourage residents to share the QR code below, participate in the drawing, and help raise awareness about the new performing arts center. Each entry supports a performance space intended to benefit Batesville fine arts students for years to come.
