The Batesville Area Arts Council’s annual celebration of local creativity is underway as the group opens its 10th annual member exhibition at its gallery, located at 226 E. Main St.
The show, which runs through Jan. 17, features work from 12 regional artists, including Karen Barker, Dustyn Bork, Carly Dahl, Myra Eley, Dana Finimore, Phyllis Haynes, Victoria Hutcheson, Aline McCracken, Mandy Mooneyham, Beth Parker, Ruby Schaaf, and Marcia Wallace.
A reception and Art Walk on Main Street is scheduled for Dec. 5 from 5-7 p.m. The exhibition is sponsored by Batesville Printing.
Holiday hours at the gallery begin Nov. 29. The council will be open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., and closed Sundays and Mondays.
