City Club of Central Oregon will host its April monthly forum on Thursday, April 16, bringing together Central Oregon’s own state legislators for a nonpartisan review of the 2026 Oregon Legislative Session and what it means for residents, businesses, and communities across the region.

The forum, titled 2026 Oregon State Legislative Review will take place from 8:00 a.m. – 9:30 a.m. at Wille Hall at Central Oregon Community College in Bend.

Confirmed speakers include:

  • Sen. Anthony Broadman
  • Sen. Mike McLane
  • Rep. Emerson Levy
  • Rep. Jason Kropf

The 2026 Oregon Legislature convened February 2 and adjourned March 6, completing a 33-day short session that produced significant legislation directly affecting Central Oregon. The session concluded with major outcomes supporting priorities related to housing, transportation, wildfire resilience, public safety, and long-term community planning.

Attendees will have the opportunity to pose questions directly to their elected officials and gain firsthand insight into how decisions made in Salem shape the future of Central Oregon.

“This forum is one of the most important conversations we host each year,” said Amber Thacher, Executive Director of City Club of Central Oregon. “Our legislators have been working hard on behalf of this region, and we want every community member to have the chance to hear directly from them and to ask the questions that matter most to their lives.”
