woody69837

After years of gnomes, growlers, and some of the region’s most beloved barrel-aged pours, The Little Woody is raising its glass one final time. Organizers have announced that 2026 will mark the final year of the iconic festival, with The Last Woody: A Final Toast taking place Saturday, August 29 from Noon to 9pm.

A staple of Central Oregon’s craft beverage scene, The Little Woody has built a reputation for showcasing barrel-aged beer, cider, wine, and spirits in a laid-back, community-driven setting. This year’s event will serve as both a celebration and a sendoff—bringing together longtime partners, fans, and first-timers for one last unforgettable day.

The final festival will feature fan-favorite elements alongside a few farewell touches:

  • Bend Beer Run (Noon): Participants will enjoy a four-stop beer run through Bend, with registration including entry into the festival.
  • Gnome Costume Contest (6pm): A crowd favorite returns with categories including Best Dressed Gnome, Best Gnome Squad, and The Spirit of the Little Woody.
  • Live Music (8–9pm): A final musical sendoff (lineup to be announced).
  • Curated Pour List: A lineup of breweries, cideries, wineries, and distilleries—featuring returning favorites, special releases, and a few surprises.
  • Whiskey Tent + Discussion: The whiskey tent will be sponsored by 503 Distilling, who will also be pouring whiskey and hosting a discussion on whiskey and distilling at 4pm.

In true Little Woody fashion, attendees can also expect limited-edition “Last Woody” merchandise, including collectible tasting glasses, apparel, and classic gnome gear—available only while supplies last.

A Festival with Impact

Proceeds from the event will continue to support its longtime beneficiary, the Deschutes Historical Society, helping preserve and share the region’s rich history.
