A new wildfire was reported three miles southwest of Sisters Sunday afternoon. The Trout Creek Fire was estimated at 43 acres and was 60 percent contained as of Sunday at 9:00 p.m. The cause is under investigation. According to Central Oregon Fire Info, the closest recent prescribed burn is approximately half a mile away.
