The Batesville Area Arts Council and Lyon College will host the Spring Art Walk on Main Street this Friday from 5 to 7 p.m.
The free, family-friendly event features a self-guided tour of artwork at several downtown locations.
The Arts Council’s Gallery on Main, 226 E. Main St., will host a reception for its 14th annual National Juried Exhibition. Veronica Inberg, museum manager at 21c Museum Hotel in Bentonville, served as the juror for the show, which features 21 artists from 10 states.
Awards will be announced at 6 p.m. Sponsors include First Community Bank, Carter Ford State Farm, and Fuller Bumpers Attorney at Law.
Other participating locations include:
- The Landers Theater: Student work from Lyon College’s Printmaking II class will be displayed on the third floor, 332 E. Main St.
- Pocket Park: Additional student work will be exhibited outdoors.
- Gallery 246: The gallery will be open to the public at its new location, 231 E. Main St.
The Art Walk is sponsored by Lyon College.
