First Community Bank announced Friday that Javier Rodriguez has joined its local mortgage team as a secondary mortgage originator.
In his new role, Rodriguez will assist customers with residential mortgage lending and guide individuals and families through the homebuying process.
“Javier has a heart for serving others and building strong relationships within our community,” said Amy Tuggle, senior vice president and secondary mortgage production manager for First Community Bank. “His ability to connect with people and provide personalized guidance will make him a valuable addition to our mortgage team as we continue serving customers throughout the Batesville area.”
Rodriguez brings about seven years of sales experience to the bank. He most recently worked in the automotive industry, helping customers navigate major financial decisions and building long-term client relationships.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and is passionate about supporting the local Hispanic community by helping Spanish-speaking individuals better understand financial opportunities and lending options. Rodriguez lives in the Batesville area and enjoys spending time with his family.
“I’m excited to join First Community Bank and be part of a team that truly values relationships and serving the community,” Rodriguez said. “Helping individuals and families achieve homeownership is something I will take pride in, and I’m looking forward to making a positive impact by providing guidance, trust and accessible lending solutions.”
