Schaaf Financial Group/Ameriprise Financial celebrates new achievements

Schaaf Financial Group, a financial advisory practice affiliated with Ameriprise Financial Services, has promoted two longtime team members to associate financial advisor roles, recognizing their contributions and achievements within the firm.

Laura Sutton, who has worked with Charles Schaaf for over 33 years, was promoted from registered sales assistant. According to a release from the practice announcing the new promotions, Sutton “has an unwavering commitment to each client and consistently goes above and beyond to ensure they are satisfied and understand the financial planning and investing process. She has been a licensed assistant for many years and holds her Series 7, 63, and 65 certifications, making her a very client-centered, knowledgeable, and hard-working representative. Anyone who knows her and has worked with her can testify to this. Schaaf Financial Group is very proud to share this news regarding Sutton.”

Joining her in the promotion is Charles “Chuck” Schaaf Jr., who has worked in the industry for nine years. Previously a registered sales assistant, he holds Series 7 and 66 certifications and recently earned the certified financial planner designation after completing the required coursework and passing the CFP exam. Schaaf is credited with developing the financial planning strategies used by the firm.

The release said Schaaf Financial Group has always lived by the philosophy of a long-term view of investing along with a focus on financial planning and helping clients determine and reach their financial goals.
