The Bluegrass & Fried Chicken Festival returns to Ozark Folk Center State Park this weekend, Aug. 22–23, with a mix of live music, artisan crafts, and a fried-chicken buffet.
The two-day event begins Friday evening with a concert at the Ozark Highlands Theater, a 1,000-seat indoor venue. Saturday features matinee and evening performances.
Headlining acts include East Nash Grass, Spillwater Drive, Casey & the Atta Boys, and 5 South.
In addition to musical performances, festival tickets include admission to the Craft Village & gardens (open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. both days), where visitors can watch artisan demonstrations, shop handcrafted goods, and enjoy more live music and family-oriented activities.
The Skillet Restaurant, located within the park, will serve its popular fried-chicken buffet between shows. Buffets are sold separately from concert tickets.
Advance ticket purchase is recommended; day-of tickets cost more when purchased at the theater or gift shop.
