From Independence County Judge Kevin Jeffery:

To the citizens of our great county, I am humbled and honored to announce my candidacy for reelection for the office of County Judge.

Serving as our county Judge has been an absolute privilege. My intent from the start has been to give 100% to this office, and that intent will continue. During my first term, I have made it a point to restore county properties and equip our workers with a reliable fleet that allows the most efficient team we can have; all without incurring any debt load. I have intentionally become involved with all county operations to identify needs that will maximize effectiveness. Case in point was working with our OEM director to improve our 911/dispatch operations that are directly tied to the ISO ratings of every fire department in the county; an effort that literally kept one fire district from dropping in rating this last year.

A new Senior Center has been constructed, bridges have been built, grants have been obtained, automatic generators have been placed in service for communication towers, a major effort to house USDA’s NRCS and FSA is underway, and on and on. With your help, this hard work will continue.

I would humbly consider it an honor and a privilege to continue to serve Independence County as your Judge. I will remain steadfast to diligently carry out the duties of county judge, and I will strive to work hard for our county. May God bless Independence County and the great state of Arkansas.
