Cushman is preparing for a full day of community events Saturday with the annual Cushman Miners Day.
The celebration begins with a parade at 10:30 a.m., with candy bags available at the Bank of Cave City tent.
Live music and vendor booths will run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Performers include Rockin’ Luke Stroud, Spring-Mill Revival, Pete Rewleyay, Generations, and From My Soul. Kids’ activities will feature bounce houses, water slides, and a rock wall.
The day concludes with a street dance at 7 p.m. featuring The Groove Vault. Food, shaved ice, additional music, and a mechanical bull will also be available.
