Seniors looking to get more comfortable with their iPhones can sign up for a free, hands-on class offered by the Independence County Library in partnership with the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville (UACCB).
The one-hour session, titled iPhone Made Simple, will be held Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the library.UACCB’s Scott Phillips will guide participants through the basics of using their smartphones, from making calls and sending texts to taking photos and adjusting accessibility settings.
Attendees will also learn how to connect to Wi-Fi, download apps, set reminders, and practice safe online habits. The class is designed specifically for beginners, with step-by-step instruction, time for questions, and practical exercises to help participants gain confidence.
