Hurley joins the bank following a 40-year career as a hairdresser. Bank officials noted that her experience in relationship-building and personal service aligns with the institution’s community-focused mission.
“I am thrilled to be a part of the First Community Bank marketing team and have the opportunity to serve my community in a new way,” Hurley said. “Throughout my career, I’ve valued the relationships I’ve built, and I’m excited to continue serving the people of this community alongside the First Community Bank family.”
In her new role, Hurley will support marketing initiatives that highlight the bank’s community involvement and customer-focused approach across its footprint, the release said.
“Tammy’s heart for people and her long-standing relationships in our community make her a wonderful addition to our team,” said Carrie Price, chief marketing officer at First Community Bank. “She understands the importance of connection and service, and those strengths will serve both our customers and our team well.”
Hurley has been married to her husband, Tim, for 29 years. They have two daughters, Tess Floyd and Abby Hurley; a son-in-law, Keegan Floyd; and one grandson. The family members are parishioners at North Heights Church of Christ.
